The Podartis X-Diab has a rigid rocker-sole which is designed to limit and immobilise foot motions. Suitable for both men and ladies, this shoe has a soft calfskin leather and stretchy Flexpell upper. Extra depth and width allow for accommodation of orthoses and foot abnormalities. A firm heel counter provides stability in the rearfoot while the double Velcro fasteners ensure a secure fit. The rigid sole is rocked over, reducing the amount of ankle, MPJ, and Hallux motion required in gait. Useful for immobilising painful arthritic feet, post-surgical healing, and offloading the At-Risk and diabetic foot.
