Orliman Paediatric Hinged Dynamic AFO
AFO for Controlled Dorsiflexion
Single | Left/Right
RHAFOAORPG-1/L
Similar to the Paediatric Static AFO, but this orthosis features a hinge at the posterior shell. Using a 3mm hex key, turn the screw anti-clockwise to increase the dorsiflexion angle. If a greater dorsiflexion limit is required, it is possible to replace the screw with a longer one. The hinge can be left open to facilitate dynamic dorsiflexion, whilst restricting ankle plantarflexion to 90°. Useful for children with high and low tone issues, ankle instability and preventing the foot from dragging on the ground during the swing phase of gait.
