The Orliman Leaf Spring AFO assists in the prevention of plantar flexion of the ankle in drop foot while facilitating moderate ankle dorsiflexion. This helps to achieve normal gait ambulation. This orthosis features a low profile prefabricated shell, made from injection moulded polypropylene.
Soft posterior and anterior padding, as well as an adjustable Velcro strap ensure a comfortable and secure fit. An easily trimmable foot plate and an open heel design allow for easy accommodation in all types of footwear. The shell is also heat modifiable for further customisation. A detachable, breathable and washable soft padded calf band enhances comfort and hygiene.
